How it works
Water enters the rectum and bowel by a small speculum.
The action of the warm, filtered water stimulates peristalsis (muscle
contractions of the bowel wall). When the water is flushed out, waste
matter, mucus, trapped gasses and toxins are eliminated. This simple routine
is repeated several times during the treatment.
The treatment lasts approximately 30-45 minutes.
Consultation
On
arrival at your first appointment I will record a brief medical history
and check your blood pressure. This is of course done in the strictest
confidence. If you have not previously received colonic irrigation please
be assured that I will have time to discuss any concerns that you may
have.
The treatment will then be carried out taking approximately
30-45 minutes. Please allow 1.5 hours for this first appointment. Subsequent
appointments will be about 1 hour.

Equipment
The Colon - Hydromat II and Habamat Aquaclean are the most up-to-date
pieces of equipment giving the recipient a very gentle but effective treatment.
